After school program supporting the educational needs of delinquent youth.
 

Cary Home for Children

Preschool Program

Extends educational services and parental involvement support down to children age 3-5 yrs.

Homeless Program

Helps homeless high school students with educationally related expenses upon request. Services may also include health, nutrition, and other social services as deemed appropriate all other private and public funding options have been expended.
 

Jefferson High School

Liaison for Non-Public Schools

Facilitates meaningful consultation with non-public schools that chose to participate in Title I services. Monitors staff development, parent involvement, appropriate use of funds, and academic support to eligible students at private schools.

School Choice

Parents of children attending a school that has not made AYP for two consecutive years have the option of sending their child to another public school in the district that has not been identified for school improvement.
 

Miller Elementary

 

Supplemental Educational Services

Extra academic instruction designed to increase student achievement in schools that have not made AYP for three or more years. Parents may select these tutoring services from a list of state approved Supplemental Educational Service providers at no out-of-pocket cost to families.
