School Safety at LSC
Our hearts grieve with the parents and school community of Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. The senseless and unspeakable tragedy fills us with deep sadness, and we will continue thinking of the families and students in Connecticut in the days and weeks ahead.

The safety of your child is our utmost concern. Each school, with the help of a School Safety Committee, reviews and updates each school's emergency plan annually. This plan is available to needed law enforcement as well. We regularly drill for things such as fire, tornado, bus evacuations, and lockdowns, and we will continue to do everything in our power to keep our children safe from harm's way.
