New Schedule due to Weather Related Closings
Due to weather conditions this winter, LSC had “snow days” on January 6, 7, 8, 28, February 5 and March 12. This was a total of six (6) days. LSC has received an attendance waiver for January 6 and 7 so these two days will not be made-up. This leaves us with four (4) “snow days” we need to make-up in this school calendar. Prior to any snow days, the last attendance day was to be Wednesday, May 21. The four (4) make-up days will be Thursday, May 22; Friday, May 23; Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28. (Monday, May 26 is Memorial Day.)Jefferson High School’s graduation will remain on Saturday, May 24.
Lafayette Regional eLearning Conference
Lafayette School Corporation is excited to announce the 2nd Annual Lafayette Regional eLearning Conference for area teachers, administrators and educational technology specialists. Making Waves with eLearning will be held June 17th and 18th at Jefferson High School. Click Here to be directed to the conference website. Update Demographic Information - Pay Book Rental - Online RegistrationLafayette School Corporation is going paperless by offering online services including registration, the ablility to update infomation, and make book rental payments for the 2013-2014 school year. The online system will save parents time by eliminating the need to visit the school to update information, pay book rental, or register. Those that do not have access to a computer may visit their homeschool and use the school computers to complete the online forms. LSC Kindergarten - Full Day
Again for the 2013 -14 school year, LSC Kindergarten classes will be full day. Students will follow the normal elementary schedule, beginning each day at 8:25 am and ending at 2:45 pm. 2013-14 is the second year that all LSC Kindergarteners will participate in a full day of learning.
