Vice President

David R. Moulton (District I) was elected to the Board in 2008 and began serving in 2009. Moulton graduated from Weber State College in 1985 with a B.A. in Economics. He is married to the former Amy Hawkins, who attended Lafayette schools and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1981. They have a son who graduated from JHS in 2017. Moulton's work history includes experience in commercial and retail banking, commercial insurance sales and managing a family owned civil engineering business. District II 

Robert M. Stwalley III, Ph.D., P.E. (District II) was elected to the Board in 2002 and began serving in January 2003. Dr. Stwalley graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Indiana, Illinois and Georgia. Dr. Stwalley is a Professor of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He is a consulting engineer in private practice and is very active in promoting the increased effectiveness of American public school Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education. In addition to his educational work, Dr. Stwalley works professionally in the renewable energy and resources area and in engineering issues related to property transfer. He is married to Dr. Carol S. President
 

Brent Clemenz (District III) was appointed to the Board of Trustees and began serving June 8, 2015. Clemenz graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Psychology and History and earned a master’s degree in social work from IUPUI in 2002. He has been employed by Valley Oaks Health for 33 years, currently working in administration as the Senior Director of Clinical Services for Tippecanoe County. Brent and his wife, Suzanne, have three sons, two whom are Jefferson High School graduates, and one who is currently a senior at JHS. At-large 

Ebony Barrett (At-large) was appointed to the Board of Trustees on Nov. 13, 2023. Barrett graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Communications and has a certificate in DEI Leadership from Indiana University. Barrett is also a certified Cultural Intelligence (CQ) facilitator. Currently serving as a DEI Consultant at IU Health, Barrett also manages a family owned business, Executive Management Consulting Group, and is on the Board of Directors for Barrett Enterprises Inc. Their multifaceted roles reflect a dedication to both corporate success and family legacy. Previously Barrett held the position of Director of Marketing and Engagement at the United Way of Greater Lafayette. Their professional experience extends to education as a former cheerleading coach at Tecumseh Jr. High and a JAG Specialist at Oakland Academy, as well as an LSC substitute teacher. Barrett is married to Tyler Crum, a Jefferson High School counselor. Barrett is also a proud parent of one LSC graduate and two current JHS students. Beyond their professional and family commitments, Barrett is deeply engaged in community service. They serve on the board at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette and act as an advisor to the board at the Hanna Center. Additionally, they dedicate their time to mentoring through MatchBox's Spark program, which aims to promote minority entrepreneurship. Barrett's passion for music is another facet of their rich life. Having traveled across the USA and internationally for performances, including a USO tour, they currently take the lead as the singer for the local band Ebony and the Ruckus. District V

Julie Peretin (District V) was appointed to the Board on Feb. 13, 2023. She grew up in the southwest corner of Tippecanoe County and is a graduate of McCutcheon High School. She attended Purdue before transferring to Calvin College (Philosophy) in Grand Rapids, Mich. She stayed home with her three children for eight years. She is employed as a Professional Practice Programs administrator at Purdue. Two of her children are students at Murdock Elementary School. She has been involved in many community organizations, including the Greater Lafayette Holocaust Remembrance Conference Committee, Tippecanoe County Extension Homemakers, Montessori School of Greater Lafayette and the Lafayette Children's Choir. She and her children are active members of St. John's Episcopal Church.

District VI
 Secretary
 

Allison McKay (District VI) was appointed to the Board and began serving on May 9, 2022. She graduated from Indiana University in 2002 with a B.S. in Secondary English Education, ESL Education and Bilingual/Bicultural Education. She served as a classroom teacher in middle schools and high schools for 18 years and helped establish a Language Minority program that was a state leader in performance on state standardized tests. She now serves as the Summer Start Coordinator at Purdue University, where she helps incoming freshmen successfully transition from high school to college. District VII

Charles (Chuck) Hockema (District VII) began his term on Jan. 20, 2023. He (class of 1959) and his five children are all graduates of Jefferson High School. Hockema joined the U.S. Army and served as a cryptograher. After an honorable discharge, he worked as the manager of Cedar Crest Motel and Restaurant and as a regional representative for a local food and snack distribution company. He was a licensed agent for BMA Health and Life Insurance Co. and Director of Environmental Services for St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He served as chairperson for the Christian Values Committee. He was a companion caregiver for Camp Bluebird Adult Cancer Camp. He was featured on the cover of IEHA (International Executive Housekeepers Assoc.) magazine. For 10 years prior to retirement, he was the Director of ES, Safety and Mission with a Lafayette continuing care retirement center. He retired at 67 to care for his wife during her 12 years with Alzheimer's Disease; she died after 57 years of marriage. He is the author of two published books of poetry and third book of real-life experiences. Hockema is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
